The frame editor is convenient way to rearrange, alter, and visualize as a set your animation frames.   It is like having a light table of slides to shuffle around. You can copy/cut/paste, add, delete, and reverse order of frames, etc.

Above is the main window that opens when you start AnimAide XT.  The sound wave chart below the main view is a built-in lip-sync tool may be used for syncing sound with images.  Syncing may be done as you animate, or after you finish capturing frames.

The time-lapse tool allows you to shoot at intervals over a specified range of time. The above image shows the time-lapse control panel.
Frame Averaging (video)
Frame averaging is where multiple (a variable amount) captures of video images are taken on each shot in order the to get an average color for each pixel to reduce the video noise.
The top image is without frame averaging. Notice the video image noise, especially on the wall.
The middle image is frame averaged set to 20 frames. It is much cleaner but has a slight blur.
The bottom image is same as middle image along with video sharpness setting to 43. The menu Options > Video Settings has an Adjustments tab for image settings where sharpness can be adjusted.
